A man in Florida was caught assembling a stolen electric scooter in front of the Target he was accused of stealing it from, local police report, referring to him as the “dumb criminal of the week”.
According to reports, he walked past cashiers with the scooter, without paying the $539.99 that it cost. One would think this would be a good time to flee before you’re caught, but this man instead stopped in front of the Target doors and began assembling the scooter that he just stole.
A police officer responded to the scene and caught him before he finished assembling it, and transported him to jail. Drugs were also found on him, and he was charged with theft and possession of drug paraphenalia.
